1. What StanProof is and isn't

StanProof helps a seller put together a public proof card for a ticket or photocard, and helps a buyer review evidence before paying. We do not handle money. We do not hold tickets or items. We do not act as an escrow. We do not match buyers and sellers. We do not transfer tickets. The signals shown on a proof card are checks and indicators — not guarantees of authenticity or safety.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 to use StanProof. By creating a proof card you confirm that you have the right to resell or transfer the underlying ticket or item, and that the original ticket or platform terms permit it.

3. Your uploads & licence to us

You keep ownership of files you upload. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host the originals privately, produce a redacted version, display the redacted version while the proof card is published, and retain originals and audit data for moderation. By uploading a file you confirm you have the right to upload it.

4. Acceptable use

• No fake, doctored, or stolen proof.
• No impersonating another person, seller, or platform.
• No copyrighted material you don't own, other than ticket and receipt screenshots used for legitimate proof purposes.
• No harassment of other users, including reporters whose identity we do not reveal.
• No doxxing.
• No attempts to game the risk score.

We may suspend or terminate accounts for breach.

5. Reports & moderation

Anyone can report a card. Reports are private — sellers do not see who reported them. Decisions are made on the criteria set out in our moderation policy. Admins may hide a card while a report is reviewed.

6. Seller appeals

If a card you own is taken down you can appeal by emailing appeals@stanproof.com [SOLICITOR: confirm address] with the card link and a short reason. We aim to respond within [SOLICITOR: timeline].

7. Takedown & repeat-infringer policy

If you believe content on StanProof infringes your copyright, email legal@stanproof.com [SOLICITOR: confirm address] with a description of the work, the URL, and a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is unauthorised. We will respond, take down or counter, and may terminate accounts that repeatedly infringe.

8. No affiliation

StanProof is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Ticketmaster, AXS, See Tickets, any artist, any venue, Reddit, X, TikTok, Instagram, or Discord. References to those services exist only to identify ticket platforms and social networks for the purpose of describing what kind of proof a user has uploaded.

9. Risk language

StanProof helps users organise and review proof before a transaction. StanProof does not guarantee ticket validity, event entry, item authenticity, seller honesty, delivery, or payment safety. Use official resale platforms and protected payment methods whenever possible.

Risk scores and badges describe the evidence on a card, not the person behind it. They are signals to slow down, not green lights to skip your own checks.

10. Liability

We do not exclude liability we cannot lawfully exclude.

11. Termination & deletion

You can delete your account from settings at any time. We may terminate or suspend an account for breach of these terms or for patterns of abuse identified by the moderation queue.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes are resolved in the courts of England and Wales. [SOLICITOR: confirm.]
